Teachers really do make a difference
As teacher or an educator it is always important to remember that you do make a difference in a student’s life. The Walgreens Expressions Challenge team salutes you for the following reasons:
You Inspire
Often it is teachers who provide that initial inspiration that becomes a lifelong passion. Kids are inspired at a young age, having teachers plant a seed of inspiration helps students maintain and build that passion throughout their growing process.
You Encourage
Teachers are always there to say “dream big” or “reach for the stars” maybe not in those exact words, but that message is translated to students in many ways. Letting students know that they have support from their teachers gives students the courage they need.
You Motivate
Motivating is one of the biggest components of teaching. As teachers or educators you always encounter students who might be doubting their potential, but is teachers who are always there to motivate and help students reach their 110% potential.
You are Role Models
When students are asked to name their role model they might mention a celebrity, or an athlete, but the true role models are the teachers. Yes teachers might not be celebrities, but they become role models by the way they influence students with their behavior, habits, and leadership skills.
