“The Expressions Challenge was a major accomplishment for me because it gave me confidence. Over a year ago, a good friend took her life. My parents were going through a really harsh separation. The physical and emotional toll was overbearing. My painting is a depiction of my mentality during this time. The planets represent happiness, anger and depression. The lonely man standing on the rock is my imagination, my conscience.”
